About Us

Incorporated in 1940, SHYC is a private, family-oriented club located 20 miles southeast of Boston.

For over 80 years the Scituate Harbor Yacht Club has been a fixture on beautiful Scituate Harbor. Since its inception, SHYC has placed an emphasis on competitive and recreational sailing, tennis and swimming all while offering an environment which embraces tradition, family values, volunteerism and community.

Visiting Yachtsmen

The Scituate Harbor Yacht Club is pleased to welcome visiting yachtsmen from other recognized Yacht Clubs with which we enjoy reciprocal privileges. Located on Cape Cod Bay just 20 miles southeast of Boston, Scituate Harbor is a wonderful cruising destination. SHYC offers transient moorings, showers, ice, launch service and use of our Dining Room and Spinnaker Café.

Within walking distance you will find amenities such as restaurants, shopping and provisions. Fuel and marine service is located in the inner harbor.
